About G7th Ltd

Nick Campling is a chartered engineer with degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Design.  Nick is the inventor of the G7th capo, and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of its design and manufacture.  Nick was the Managing Director of design company 42 Technology Ltd, which he left in 2006 to concentrate on developing new products for G7th.

Noel Sheehan is the Managing Director of Sheehans, a highly regarded specialist retailer based in Leicester, England.  He also organises Acoustic Avalon, the UK's largest specialist acoustic guitar show.

Noel currently sits on the council of the Music Industries Association, and is chairman of its e-commerce committee.  He has been involved in the development of the G7th capo from the drawing board through to manufacture, and is now responsible for all aspects of Sales, Marketing and Distribution.

Chris Samwell also sits on the Board of G7th and is responsible for the styling and ergonomics of the G7th capo range, building on Nick’s original ideas. Chris holds an MA with Distinction in Industrial Design and Engineering and is MD of Bluefrog Design – working every day with clients big and small to research and develop concepts into marketable products.
