Artist biography
UNCHAIN is a three-piece Japanese rock band formed in Kyōtango, Kyoto, in 1996 and debuted with a major label in 2007. They developed a pop rock-neo soul style music, which has mixture of city pop, jazz, funk and dance elements. Tanigawa's outstanding voice combined with the technical ability of the band has made them unique among Japanese rock bands. 1996年結成、京都府京丹後市出身のロックバンド。 谷川正憲（Vo/Gt）、谷浩彰（Ba/Cho）、吉田昇吾（Dr） ジャズやソウルミュージック、フュージョン、更にはシティポップス的なエッセンスまでを絶妙にブレンドしたグルーヴィーなロックを鳴らす。 2005年インディーズ・デビューし、2枚のミニアルバムをリリース後、2007年にメジャー・デビュー。 Vo.谷川の圧倒的な歌唱⼒と確かな演奏⼒は、国内ロックバンド勢の中でも唯一無二の存在として独自の地位を確立している。
