Artist Bio

Raised in the artistic community of Woodstock, NY, music has been a fundamental part of my life since as far back as I can remember. Experimenting with various instruments since the age of 8, I discovered and fell in love with the guitar at the age of 12 and immersed myself into a rigorous practice regimen, often spending up to 8 hours a day becoming more and more proficient on the instrument.

As a guitarist, I have played on sessions for various television, album and film projects. I released "Stained Voodoo", a collection of 10 original compositions ranging in style from rock to funk to acoustic, that pays homage to my earliest musical influences. In 2006, Stained Voodoo took home the Instrumental Album of the Year award at the LA Music Awards. I wrote “Introspective Guitar” and have also worked with Guitar Tricks as an online guitar instructor.

As a songwriter and producer, I have signed publishing deals with a number production music libraries and my songs have been placed in various movies, television shows, DVDs, and commercials. I’ve written songs for television shows including American Idol, The Voice, So You Think You Can Dance, Cold Case, EXTRA, The Sing-Off, Hannah Montana, and High School Musical 2. I’ve written and produced commercials for Audi, Mazda and Skechers. I also wrote and performed on the single “I Like It” by Sheila E and The E Family.

A brief rundown of some recent recordings would include 3 albums by Chasing Saints licensed for tv and film use, and the recent release by Jeff Bowders entitled “The Pilgrimage of Thingamuhjig.” This is a record that I’m particularly proud to have been a part of, and am honored to have shared the guitar duties along side artists including Paul Gilbert, Richie Kotzen, and Greg Howe. I wrote the theme song for Saturday morning tv show “The Young Icons.”  I also co-produced the virtual instruments for Vir2 Instruments entitled "Acoustic Legends" and "Apollo: Cinematic Guitars" as well as "Steel and Wood: Songwriter Acoustic Sessions" for Big Fish Audio.

Currently I’m working with my production company SonicTremor, whose catalog is exclusively licensed through 5 Alarm Music, while at the same time writing articles, blogs and gear reviews for Collectible Guitar Magazine and

Finally, I am an endorsing artist for McPherson Guitars, Kemper Amplifiers, DRC Guitars, Elixir Strings, DiMarzio Pickups, Visual Sound Pedals, Klotz Cables, In Tune Guitar Picks, Propellerhead Software, Sonoma Wireworks, and X-Tempo Designs.
