Al Bonhomme has been a full time professional guitar player and guitar teacher since graduating High School in 1974.
Although known as an electric country guitarist with outstanding acoustic guitar skills, Al is well versed in all styles of contemporary music.

Al continues to perform and record in most styles including rock, blues, r&b, jazz and funk.
A respected member of MI’s faculty since 1999.

2004 - present - GIT co-ordinator performing a variety of duties assisting dept head including taking care of all subbing issues, evaluating MI applications, awarding scholarships, judging MI competitions, advising and training guitar instructors, working with department head on curriculum ideas and testing requirements and working with students on issues pertaining to MI.
