Our free lifetime warranty covers any manufacturing fault or failure of the mechanism during normal use. It is not an insurance policy; here are some examples of what is not covered by the warranty:
- Misuse or accidental damage
- Wear and tear (e.g. rubber components will inevitably wear out eventually with heavy use)
- Plating and painted finishes
Warranty replacements will still incur customs/duties charges that are the recipient's responsibility. All you would pay is the shipping cost (up to a maximum of $15 USD for a single capo) and any customs/duties charges which may apply. We will provide instructions if this is the case for you.
If you wear out the silicone string pad on your Performance or Performance 2 capo, then you can purchase a replacement through our online store. For most users, the original rubber will last a lifetime.
If you have lost the lower arm rubber from your Newport capo, it can also be purchased from our online store. If you are unsure which model you have, complete this form, and we will advise you.
Capos not purchased directly from G7th will require payment for tracked shipping (max $15 USD).
For most warranty claims, we will require you to return your faulty capo to us. We will send you instructions for this as part of the claim process.
To claim your G7th product warranty, please complete the following form.
Required fields are marked with a red *, and at least one photo is required (see the guidance below). Once the form has been submitted we will assess the information and decide if the claim is valid.
We aim to reply to submissions and messages within three working days - please make sure to check your Junk folder for responses.
