We require photos with warranty claim submissions so we can assess the potential problems with a capo and determine the exact model capo you have. We appreciate that some problems can't be seen in a photo, so please ensure that you have described the problem in the form above.
Photos don't need to be fancy or high-resolution - a typical picture taken on a phone camera that isn't too dark will usually do the job.
As we have several capos that look very similar, we need to be able to identify the model of yours from the photos. One photo MUST show a clear side view of the capo from a top-down view placed against a ruler, as shown below. The photo should clearly show the string pad measurement against the ruler, which is important for identifying a steel string capo or a Classical/Flamenco capo.
Sending unclear pictures will cause your claim to take longer to process.
This is an acceptable example:
Also, if your capo has any engraving, please make sure that you submit photos that clearly show ALL the engraving so we can match it on any replacements we send.
If you think your capo has been lost in the post, please attach a photo or screenshot of any email correspondence you've had with us - either an automated email from our website or a conversation with one of the G7th Team.
